Customizing AI Behavior

System prompt

The system prompt tells the AI how to behave. Go to the Customize tab to edit it. You can choose from built-in templates or write your own:

  • General AI — Friendly, helpful assistant
  • Customer Support — Professional, solution-focused
  • Sales — Engaging, proactive with offers
  • Booking — Focused on scheduling appointments
  • FAQ — Concise, factual answers

You can also fully customize the prompt to include specific instructions, brand guidelines, or response rules.

Tone and language

Configure how the AI communicates:

  • Tone — Professional, Friendly, Casual, or Formal
  • Response length — Concise, Balanced, or Detailed
  • Language — The AI auto-detects the visitor's language, but you can set a default

The AI supports 95+ languages automatically. When a visitor writes in Spanish, the AI responds in Spanish — no configuration needed.

AI model selection

FrontlineHQ uses advanced AI models for response generation. The system automatically uses the best available model and falls back gracefully if needed. You don't need to configure this — it's handled automatically to ensure reliability.
